Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how TixPulse, Inc., doing business as Tixxi ("Tixxi," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information about you when you use our website at heytixxi.com, our applications, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account information: your email address, password (stored only in hashed form by our authentication provider), and any name or profile details you provide. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and basic profile information from Google.
- Price alerts and preferences: the events, artists, teams, venues, price thresholds, ticket quantities, and notification settings you configure.
- Payment information: if you subscribe or purchase, payment card and billing details are collected and processed by our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
- Communications: messages you send us (support requests, feedback) and your responses to surveys or "notify me" interest prompts.
- Waitlist: if you join our waitlist, your email address and the source/campaign through which you arrived.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data: searches you run, events you view, recommendations shown and clicked, alerts created, and similar interactions, used to operate and improve the Service.
- Device & log data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, operating system, referring pages, and timestamps.
- Cookies and similar technologies: see Section 6.
Information from third parties
- Event & pricing data: we obtain event listings and resale pricing from providers such as Ticketmaster's Discovery API and TicketsData; this is data about events, not about you.
- Authentication providers: if you sign in with Google, we receive limited profile information as described above.
- Referrals: if you were referred by another user, we record the referral association.
2. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including monitoring ticket prices and sending you alerts;
- Create and manage your account and process subscriptions and one-time purchases;
- Personalize your experience, including generating recommendations ("For You") based on your alerts and activity;
- Communicate with you about your account, alerts, transactions, and service updates;
- Send marketing communications where permitted (you may opt out at any time);
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security issues, and technical problems;
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service;
- Analyze usage to understand and improve the Service.
3. Legal bases for processing
Where required by law (for example, for users in the EEA/UK), we process personal data on the following bases: performance of a contract (to provide the Service you request, including delivering the transactional SMS price alerts you sign up for), legitimate interests (to operate, secure, and improve the Service), consent (for certain email marketing communications, which you may withdraw), and legal obligation (to comply with applicable law). Our SMS program sends only transactional alerts you request and is not a marketing channel.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only as described below:
- Service providers: vendors who perform services on our behalf (hosting, payment processing, email and SMS delivery, analytics, ticket-data providers) under contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
- Affiliate and referral partners: when you click an outbound link to a ticketing marketplace, that marketplace receives standard referral parameters; we may receive a commission. We do not share your account profile with them.
- Legal & safety: when required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Tixxi, our users, or others.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Privacy Policy.
- With your direction or consent: when you ask us to share information or otherwise consent.
5. Third-party services we use
We rely on the following categories of providers. Each processes data under its own privacy terms:
| Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Stripe | Payment processing and subscription billing |
| Supabase | Database, authentication, and hosting of account data |
| Vercel | Application hosting and delivery |
| Resend | Transactional and notification email delivery |
| Optional sign-in (OAuth) | |
| Ticketmaster / TicketsData | Event catalog and resale pricing data |
| Anthropic | AI processing of natural-language alert requests you submit |
| SMS provider | Text-message alerts, where you opt in |
When you use our natural-language alert feature, the text you enter is sent to our AI provider solely to interpret your request into alert settings. We do not send your contact details for this purpose.
6. Cookies & tracking technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, secure the Service, and understand usage. Some are strictly necessary for the Service to function (for example, authentication). Others are analytics cookies that help us improve the Service. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect functionality.
7. Advertising & your choices
We may use analytics and, in the future, advertising technologies to understand usage and (if enabled) show you relevant content. Where we or our partners use online tracking for interest-based advertising, you can opt out of participating networks through the Digital Advertising Alliance at optout.aboutads.info and the Network Advertising Initiative at optout.networkadvertising.org. Where applicable under U.S. state law, you can exercise advertising opt-out rights through the "Your Privacy Choices" link in our website footer (see Section 13).
8. SMS & communications consent
If you opt in to receive ticket price-drop alerts by SMS, you consent to receive recurring automated transactional text messages at the number you provide, for the events you choose to track. Our SMS program is informational only — we do not send marketing or promotional text messages, and marketing consent is never bundled with your SMS alert consent. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on the alerts you set. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP, and reply HELP for help. We handle SMS in accordance with applicable law, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). Full details are in our separate SMS Terms. Email communications include an unsubscribe link for non-essential messages; transactional messages (such as alert notifications and account or billing notices) are part of the Service.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in data with any third parties or affiliates for their own marketing. Your mobile number and SMS consent are used solely to deliver the Tixxi alerts and account messages you request, and are shared only with our SMS delivery provider strictly to transmit those messages on our behalf. SMS opt-in consent is never shared with third parties for any purpose.
9. Aggregated & de-identified data
We may create aggregated or de-identified data that does not identify you (for example, demand trends by city, artist, or genre, and pricing-timing patterns). We may use and disclose such data for any lawful purpose, including research, analytics, and commercial products, provided it cannot reasonably be used to identify you. We do not attempt to re-identify de-identified data.
10. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and thereafter as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.
11. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit, hashed password storage, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Your rights & choices
- Access & update: you can view and update most account information in your settings.
- Deletion: you may request deletion of your account and associated personal information by contacting us (see Section 17).
- Marketing opt-out: unsubscribe links in emails; reply STOP to SMS.
- Cookies: manage through your browser.
13. U.S. state privacy rights
Depending on your state of residence (for example, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, and others), you may have rights to: know or access the personal information we hold about you; correct inaccuracies; delete your personal information; obtain a portable copy; and opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information or targeted advertising as defined by your state's law. We do not sell personal information for money and do not knowingly "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise any right, contact us at the address in Section 17, or use the "Your Privacy Choices" link in our website footer where applicable. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. You may appeal a decision by replying to our response.
California "Shine the Light": California residents may request information about disclosures of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We do not share personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing.
14. Children's privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where applicable), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
15. International users
Tixxi is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., you understand your information will be processed in the U.S., where data-protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
16. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new "Last updated" date and, where required, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
